Questo fino al 1968, quando l’amministrazione comunale di Laveno comprò il Palazzo con l’idea di destinarlo alla raccolta della pregiata produzione ceramica del paese. Il 9 Maggio venne inaugurato il museo che fu chiamato Civica Raccolta di Terraglie.
